Acesta ,  Makgeolli este un amestec de orez aburit, drojdie \u0219i ap\u0103, l\u0103sat s\u0103 fermenteze c\u00e2teva s\u0103pt\u0103m\u00e2ni \u00eentr-o oal\u0103 de lut. Multe familii din Coreea \u00ee\u0219i preparau propriile b\u0103uturi cu re\u021beta lor unic\u0103 \u00eenainte de ocuparea japonez\u0103 a Coreei care s-a petrecut \u00eentre 1910-1945.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Guvernul japonez, \u00een timpul anex\u0103rii Peninsulei Coreene, au eliminat treptat produc\u0103torii de b\u0103ututi artizanale \u00een favoarea produc\u0103torilor industriali de b\u0103uturi alcoolice standardizate. Apoi, acesta a fost \u00eenlocuit de Soju modern,  o alt\u0103 b\u0103utur\u0103 coreean\u0103 foarte foarte popular\u0103 ce reprezint\u0103 de fapt un lichior limpede ob\u021binut prin diluarea
